Ryan Lamoureux is the Investment Analyst at Foster Group and a member of the Investment Strategy Group. His responsibilities include conducting research and due diligence on current and prospective Foster Group funds and managers, as well as portfolio research and support for the Investment Advisory Group. Prior to joining Foster Group, Ryan spent four years with a local investment management firm where he was involved with trading, investment research, and portfolio construction.
Ryan graduated college in 2013, from Iowa State University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and has held the FINRA Series 6, 63, and 7 securities licenses.
Personal
I was born and raised in Rockford, IL. After graduating from Iowa State, I moved to Des Moines where I met my wife. We happily spend most of our time with our kids, and you will find us at the Iowa State Fair or Lake Okoboji in the summer months!
When I was 10 years old, my grandfather opened a Vanguard “Young Investors” account for me and showed me how to use the newspaper to see the investment performance of my fund. This sparked my interest in investments. At Foster Group, I make sure that the way we invest for our clients aligns with their goals and are consistent with Foster Group’s investment philosophy. I could not be more humbled to be part of an organization that truly puts clients’ needs first—no matter the cost.
