Josh Pirtle is a Senior Associate Advisor at Foster Group. In this role, he works primarily with Foster Group’s Institutional clients. Prior to joining Foster Group in 2023, Josh spent nine years in retirement distribution roles, working retirement plans with assets in the range of $10M – $200M. His expertise with retirement plan consultation, plan design, sales, and implementation for 401(k), 403(b), 457, KSOP, and defined benefit plans as an individual contributor is an asset to our institutional clients. Josh formerly held FINRA Series 6, 63, and Iowa Insurance licenses.
Personal
I grew up just outside of Indianola on a small acreage. My family taught me that the one thing you can control in life is your work ethic, and I have carried that with me to this day.
I am excited to have the opportunity to continue my career growth at Foster Group as an associate advisor, supporting Institutional and Retirement Plan Clients. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our clients and business owners along with helping their employees achieve financial success.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time relaxing at home, riding my bike, playing a round of golf, and hunting. I enjoy spending time at various sporting events while rooting for the Cardinals, Packers, and Hawkeyes. My wife and I welcomed our daughter into the family in July of 2022.
