Personal

Growing up in a small farming town in Northeast Iowa taught me how important being part of a community is. Whenever there was something to celebrate, the whole community celebrated with you. Whenever there was a tragedy, everyone came together and did whatever needed to be done to provide support and encouragement. That blessing has always stayed with me. I believe it truly does “take a village.” I try to be the “community” for all of those that are in my life. I feel fortunate to have found that culture here at Foster Group.

My husband and I have been blessed with 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys. They keep us very busy and always on our toes! The laundry never ends but neither do the laughs and hugs. On the weekends you will typically find us at a sporting event of some sort for one of our children. One of my passions is running. I enjoy both the physical and mental benefits that come from it.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
