The things most important to me are my faith, family, fitness, and financial planning. I strive to live my life focused on these things.
I grew up in Grinnell, Iowa, and now live in Clive with my wife, Rachael, and our two young daughters, Jenna and Adalynn. I enjoy spending my free time with my family. With young kids, we are constantly answering life’s hard questions, laughing together, playing at local parks, and trying to eat as many family meals together as possible. I do also enjoy some solitary time. One of my passions is running. I am usually training for local races year-round to keep motivated and stay in shape. I also enjoy spending time reading.
My interest in personal finance came after making enough mistakes of my own. After correcting behaviors and getting better at budgeting, planning, saving, spending and giving, I thought it would be great if I could help others do this as well. So, it gives me great joy to be able to help our clients daily. I also appreciate working for a firm that values integrity and is relentless at doing the right thing.
