Personal

I was thrilled when the opportunity came to work for Foster Group. I was looking for a position that would allow me to help others in a meaningful way, while remaining in the finance industry. When I am not working, I am typically spending time with family and friends or at a church event. I have been blessed with a large family, so I often have the chance to spend time with them. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and reading books. Whether I’m reading a science fiction novel or a book on investing, I love to immerse myself in a book.

My favorite quote comes from Matthew 6:34, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own.” This verse does not suggest we neglect to plan for the future, rather that we not spend even a moment worried about things which are out of our control. I’m excited about what my future holds, especially now that I have been presented with the opportunity to help others in such a significant way through Foster Group.
