Prior to joining Foster Group, Tom spent 25 years at a major financial services firm in a variety of roles, supporting 401(k) plan design and administration, helping individuals make confident financial decisions, and partnering with financial advisors to deliver investment solutions and practice-growth strategies. His experience as a trusted consultant and relationship builder allows him to bridge the gap between product expertise and client needs, fostering long-term success for advisors and their clients, alike.

I’m a proud Iowa native from Winterset and a graduate of Iowa State University, though I’ll admit that I’m a lifelong Iowa Hawkeye fan at heart. Go Hawks! I’m lucky to be married to an amazing woman who inspires me every day and together, we’re raising two energetic sons who keep life fun and full. I love challenging myself through workouts, hiking, biking, and other outdoor adventures. I also love vacationing in hidden-gem cities that combine great scenery, local culture, and a relaxed pace. More than anything, I enjoy meeting new people and building meaningful connections along the way.
