Tyler Craig is a Lead Advisor and works primarily with Foster Group’s Institutional clients. Prior to joining Foster Group in 2021, Tyler spent four years in retirement distribution roles. His expertise with retirement plan consultation, plan design, sales and implementation for 401k, 403b, and defined benefit plans as an individual contributor is an asset to our Institutional clients.  Tyler formerly has held FINRA Series 6, 63, and Iowa Insurance licenses.

Personal

Growing up, my family taught me to be honest, have fun, work hard until the job is finished, and live a life rich with love. I intend to exemplify these values throughout my professional career, and I hope that these are the lasting impressions l leave with clients and colleagues.

I love coming to work each day as an Advisor serving our Institutional and Retirement Plan clients! Our role as a Fiduciary to Plan Sponsors and Participants is a responsibility that drives me and one I will never take for granted. Each day I am impressed by how deeply committed our firm is to serving our clients, and the emphasis we place on family and our values.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time relaxing at home with my wife, our two dogs, and our son. We spend as much time as possible together with family and close friends. Our time together is always a blast, whether it is our annual trip to Siesta Key, Florida, weekly treks in the Fall to Iowa City for Hawkeye football games, or enjoying our favorite Summer patio at the Des Moines Famers Market.
