What drew you to Foster Group, and what has kept you engaged with your work?

Helping others achieve their goals has always been a passion of mine. Foster Group’s commitment to putting clients first made it the place I wanted to build my career, and I’ve seen that commitment show up time and again throughout every part of the company. It’s baked into our culture, and I couldn’t be more grateful for it!

Experience & Community

Before joining Foster Group, Ben spent eight years as an actuary at a large insurance company, where he got broad exposure across several business areas throughout the company. Originally from Kansas City, Kansas, he moved to Des Moines to attend Drake University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science with a concentration in Jazz Guitar. Ben’s analytical background and passion for problem-solving help him bring thoughtful, personalized guidance to every client relationship.

Beyond the Office

Ben and his wife have two young kids who keep them really busy. When he gets spare time, Ben enjoys staying active year-round through cycling, running, golf, and skiing – anything to spend more time outdoors.
