Jacob is an Associate Advisor at Foster Group. In this role, he assists with the delivery and implementation of financial plans and meets client service needs. Before joining Foster Group full-time, Jacob was an intern for two summers on the Associate team. He graduated from Iowa State in 2019 with a degree in Finance and a minor in Financial Planning.

Personal

I grew up in Grimes, Iowa with three awesome siblings and two great parents. The foundation of my family was built on faith, which has allowed me to become the person I am today. I was blessed to grow up in a household that had lots of fun traveling and spending time together. Another huge blessing in my life was attending Iowa State University. Being from a Cyclone family, I always knew Ames was the place for me. My four years of college allowed me to meet a great community of friends, find a passion within Financial Planning, and grow closer to the Lord.

My biggest passions include being active, following sports, and hanging out with friends and family. As a former intern at Foster Group, I love that I get a chance to impact lives through my job. My goal is to serve others well, and Jesus is the perfect example set for me. I hope to be used in the building of his Kingdom and not my own.
