Current Role

Jacob Belzer serves as a Senior Associate Advisor at Foster Group, where he helps deliver and implement financial plans while supporting the ongoing needs of clients. After spending two summers interning with Foster Group, Jacob joined the firm full time and has continued to grow his experience and responsibilities in financial planning. He enjoys building relationships with clients and turning their financial goals into reality.

What do you find most rewarding about serving clients?

“I love the fact that the work we do makes a meaningful difference in someone’s life. My relationship with the Lord shapes the way I serve others, and I want clients to know they have someone who will listen and care for their needs.”

Experience & Community

Jacob earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Financial Planning from Iowa State University. His interest in financial planning began during college and grew through his internship experience at Foster Group, where he discovered an opportunity to combine an interest in finance with meaningful, long-term relationships.

Beyond the Office

Outside of work, Jacob enjoys spending time with his wife and family, working on the farm and being an outdoorsman, and serving within his church community. Everything is centered around his relationship with Jesus – looking to be a light for the Kingdom through actions and words.
