Foster Group Earns Fiduciary Excellence Certification for 19th Consecutive Year
The only firm in Iowa and Nebraska to be continuously CEFEX-certified since 2007.
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (Oct. 1, 2026) Foster Group is proud to announce the renewal of its Centre for Fiduciary Excellence (CEFEX®) certification from Broadridge, marking the firm’s 19th consecutive year of certification. The renewal reflects Foster Group’s ongoing commitment to fiduciary best practices and acting in the best interests of its clients.
Following a thorough, independent assessment of its investment management processes, investment strategy implementation and other fiduciary practices, Foster Group successfully demonstrated continued adherence to the Prudent Practices® for Investment Advisors, the standard used as the basis for CEFEX certification.

CEFEX certification is renewed annually through an evidence-based assessment designed to evaluate a firm’s adherence to documented and legally substantiated fiduciary practices.

Foster Group is specifically certified for ERISA defined benefit plans, ERISA defined contribution plans, personal trusts, high-net-worth individuals, endowments, foundations and corporate-owned investment accounts.
Foster Group is the only firm in Iowa and Nebraska that has been continuously CEFEX-certified since 2007.
The CEFEX certification program is based on the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 19011 guidelines for auditing management systems. The standard, Prudent Practices for Investment Advisors, is substantiated by legislation, case law and regulatory opinion letters from the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Uniform Prudent Investor Act (UPIA), the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act (UPMIFA) and the Model Management of Public Employee Retirement Systems Act (MMPERSA) in the U.S.
