Melissa Pflieger, CFP^®,  is a Senior Associate Advisor at Foster Group. In this role, she assists with the delivery and implementation of financial plans and meets client service needs. Before joining Foster Group, Melissa worked in engineering management with an international organization.

Personal

My favorite verse is, “A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” I have seen this play out in my own life. My first career, in engineering, was beyond what I ever imagined. I met my husband at the company I worked for, and we now have three amazing daughters. After over 30 years in engineering, I went back to school and got my Masters in Personal Financial Planning, which led me to Foster Group. I love working with numbers, budgets, and especially mentoring people. I love that Foster Group is fee-only and that clients’ goals are always the first priority. I look forward to helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love the outdoors, including biking, hiking and all things lake life related. I especially enjoy paddle boarding and kayaking.
