Gretchen Muller is the Director of Communications at Foster Group, where she engages with clients across multiple platforms to share thoughtful and practical financial perspectives. Before joining Foster Group in 2025, she spent more than 20 years analyzing international equities, a dynamic role that fostered her passion for continuous learning and honed her skills in financial analysis, decision-making, and communication. While she deeply valued the analytical aspects of her work, Gretchen found her greatest fulfillment came from interacting with clients to provide financial insights and solutions. Working in this capacity at Foster Group allows her to help people plan for their financial futures while building lasting relationships along the way.

Gretchen’s passion for learning also extends to the classroom, where she has served as an Adjunct Instructor of Finance at Central College and Buena Vista University.

Personal

My husband and I have been lifelong friends, growing up just a mile apart in rural Iowa. While I pursued a career in finance, he devoted his professional life to education. Together, our work has allowed us to explore the world while staying deeply connected to our local school, community, and church. You’ll often find us sitting in bleachers or auditoriums, cheering on students as they showcase their talents. We are blessed with three children who are beginning to forge their own paths, and I’m excited to see the stories they will write.
