Foster Group received first place in the Investment Company category in Omaha’s B2B Magazine 2022 Best of B2B Contest. Readers of B2B Magazine voted for Omaha-area businesses that they consider the best in the city for the services and products they provide in their respective fields.

Foster Group was named to the 2019 edition of the Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers. The list recognizes top independent Registered Investment Advisory firms across the U.S. The annual FT 300 list is produced independently by the Financial Times in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the FT that provides business intelligence on the asset management industry. Foster Group was named to the 2018 edition of the FT 300 list as well.

The Financial Times contacted approximately 3,400 qualified firms and received 750 applications. Applicants were graded on 6 factors: assets under management, assets under management growth rate, years of experience, industry certifications, years of experience, and online accessibility. Foster Group has not paid fees related to receiving this ranking and Foster Group has paid no fees to Financial Times or Ignite Distribution Research to promote this ranking. Foster Group has been certified by CEFEX (Centre for Fiduciary Excellence), an independent global assessment and certification organization. As a certifying organization, CEFEX provides independent recognition of a fiduciary’s conformity to a defined Standard of Practice, implying that a fiduciary can demonstrate adherence to the industry’s best practices, and is positioned to earn the public’s trust. This registration serves investors who require assurance that their investments are being managed according to commonly accepted best practices. Foster Group is the only Iowa and Nebraska firm to be CEFEX certified since 2007.

The Centre for Fiduciary Excellence, LLC is an independent certification organization. CEFEX works closely with industry experts to provide comprehensive assessment programs to improve the fiduciary practices of investment stewards, advisors and managers. CEFEX certifications help determine the trustworthiness of investment fiduciaries. Foster Group obtained its CEFEX certification in August 2007, and has renewed each year since. In order to achieve certification, Foster Group pays an annual assessment fee of approximately $5,000. These fees are a requirement for certification and cover the cost of the independent audit.
