Missy is the Executive Assistant, whose primary role is supporting the Executive Team and the Board of Directors. Prior to moving to the Des Moines area, Missy was a lifelong resident of Knoxville, Iowa and worked at Iowa State Savings Bank there for 14 years, assisting customers with new accounts and consumer loans. Prior to her position at the bank, Missy worked for the State of Iowa in the Clerk of Court’s Office managing civil law filings. Both positions provided her the skills necessary to manage clients and client information in a professional manner.

I am so blessed to have become a member of Foster Group and thoroughly enjoy coming to work every day!  It is very humbling to be a part of such a phenomenal team. Over the years, I have established many strong connections with clients and, from those, see the value and security it gives to each individual.   I look forward to building the same type of relationships here at Foster Group.

My husband and I recently moved to the Des Moines area to be closer to our three grown children and their families.  Spending as much time as possible with them is very important to us today as it was when they were growing up.  Family dinner was always a priority in our home and it’s satisfying to see those things being just as important to our children going forward.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking and reading.  My reading choices are most generally of inspirational content.  I find it remarkable how a writer can inspire others through their faith, trials and experiences. My personal faith has taught me that nothing is left to chance.  Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
