Personal

As a student at Northwestern College, I was a member of the football team that won their first NAIA National Championship. The dedication and discipline required to reach that level of success provided me with valuable life lessons. My focus today is to continue to help build a team of professionals whose core purpose is to positively impact the lives of those they serve. In addition, I am devoted to continuing to build a workplace where people are excited to come to work. I believe that in accomplishing these objectives, Foster Group has the ability and opportunity to significantly affect many lives.

Branch Rickey, the noted Major League Baseball executive and coach, was quoted as saying, “Luck is the residue of design.” At Foster Group, I don’t believe we are just “lucky.” The actions we take and the decisions we make are all focused on the individual needs of our clients.

My wife, Cyndy, and I live on a farm near Winterset, Iowa. We have five children that share our love of the farm. My recreational time is spent with my family and being outdoors. With a stocked pond, plenty of timber, open pasture, and a golf course minutes away, my favorite activities, logically, include fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, and golf.
