Professional Biography
Paul Womacks, RP® fills the role of Operations Specialist, working primarily as part of the Client Services team. In addition, he is involved in the Finance function.
Paul handles the daily reconciliation of data into our portfolio management system, manages the quarterly client reporting process, and maintains cost basis information for our clients. A portion of his responsibilities at Foster Group include accounts payable, accounts receivable and budgeting.
Paul’s work history includes over 18 years as an accountant. He earned his Associate of Accounting degree from the American Institute of Business in Des Moines. He has also earned the Registered Paraplanner (RP®) designation from the College of Financial Planning.
Personal Thoughts
I have been married to my wife, Beth, for 38 years and we have two sons, both with growing families. With five grandchildren, we frequently spend time entertaining or babysitting.
In my free time, I enjoy fishing, biking, and watching football -- I root especially for the Iowa Hawkeyes. You can also find Beth and I walking frequently; outside in nice weather or inside during the not-so-nice Iowa winters.
I couldn't put down Tony Dungy's book, "Quiet Strength." I was fascinated at how he excelled in a coaching leadership role with a quiet demeanor and the integrity of a Christian testimony. A favorite quote from the book is, "It's about the journey - mine and yours - and lives we can touch, the legacy we can leave and the world we can change for the better."
