Personal Thoughts
My family, which constitutes my primary source of enjoyment and camaraderie, consists of my husband, Ron, our three married children, seven grandchildren and my 92 year-old mom.
Since marrying, we have enjoyed boating because of our love of the outdoors, bringing our family and friends together, and the serenity of being surrounded by water. Each summer for over 20 years, our entire family has spent a week at Leech Lake in northern Minnesota, where we fish, swim, boat, ski, tube, and have campfires. Here, our grandchildren learn the importance of family, supporting one another in the preparation of big meals, and a lot of laughing. You can’t take life too seriously! The memories we build are priceless.
“Inside the Magic Kingdom – The Seven Keys to Disney’s Success,” by Tom Connellan, is one of my favorite books. It outlines the primary reason for the success of Walt Disney Properties – TEAMWORK! I learned from this book that I am not successful unless you are successful, and it takes the entire team to lead that success. This is also what I have found at Foster Group.
