Professional Biography
Jerry Foster, CFP®, founded Foster Group in 1989 with a vision to create an organization built around a team concept and dedicated to serving clients first. Jerry has written articles for national publications and speaks to physicians and business leaders, both in the U.S. and internationally, regarding personal and business leadership as well as financial issues. He speaks internationally with Crown Financial and he and his wife, Nancy, speak at FamilyLife Weekend to Remember marriage conferences. Jerry is the author of Life Focus; Achieving a Life of Purpose and Influence. Jerry and Nancy have been married for thirty years and live in Des Moines, Iowa.
Personal Thoughts
My personal mission statement states, “I exist to honor God while motivating, challenging and encouraging others in their pursuit of personal excellence.” This can be summed up in three words, “Challenge to Excellence.” All that I do has this purpose as the foundation for “why” I do it.
Every day, I strive to challenge the team at Foster Group toward excellence in delivering a world-class experience for our clients. When working with clients, my goal is to challenge them to excellence in being good stewards of their resources and influencing those around them. As a husband and father, I strive to challenge my family to be excellent in all that they do. I am energized when others discover their unique abilities and put them to work.
I enjoy traveling, but savor the time I get to spend at home relaxing with my family and friends. More recently, I have renewed an old interest in art and have been tackling projects using the mediums of pencil, watercolor and pastels.
