Professional Biography
Buck Olsen, CFP®, is a Partner at Foster Group. On a day-to-day basis, Buck is charged with facilitating the on-boarding process for prospective new clients to the firm. Because Foster Group works so diligently to build and maintain lifelong client relationships, Buck's role is critical to the success of the firm. He is a gifted listener and works hard to understand our client’s most critical concerns, fears, successes and opportunities. You will often hear Buck describe the role of Foster Group in a client’s life as, “helping you accomplish all that is important to you and helping you avoid costly mistakes.” He believes this to his core and it is evident that his personal goal is to help our clients experience it!
Personal Thoughts
My wife, Laura, and I have 4 children that expose us to the opportunities of an abundant life! Our kids teach us, daily, about the importance of having faith like a child and having big dreams so that one day I, too, can be "Mr. Incredible" when I grow up! Every moment of time I have with my family is very important to me. What I enjoy most is the time we spend together at our family cabin in Northern Minnesota , which we frequent at least one week a month during the summer and early fall. My favorite quote is "Do not conform to the patterns of this world, rather be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will." As I journey through life personally and professionally, this quote reflects my desire to live and encourage those around me to live with intention and positive impact.
