Professional Biography
Brent Carlson is Foster Group’s Leader in Finance, Compliance, and Human Resources. Brent has been with the firm since 2002. As his title indicates, he wears many different hats for the Foster Group team. Brent holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa. He draws upon this and his years of public accounting experience to help monitor, evaluate, and reinforce Foster Group’s strong financial foundation. As a member of the firm’s Compliance Team, Brent continues to help the firm identify, implement and navigate the industry’s ever-changing regulatory environment. His business background and analytics are also valuable to the firm’s Strategic Planning and Leadership teams, which he also serves.
Personal Thoughts
I am constantly encouraged by our firm’s commitment to positive life change, whether it is for our clients or our team members. This manifests itself not only financially, but also adds depth, and impacts how we all live our lives.
When not working for the Foster Group team, I am busy with my home team, which includes a wonderful spouse and three young children. I enjoy the outdoors, its different pace and the life experiences that can only be learned from participating in it. Whether it is hunting, fishing or archery, I always welcome opportunities to introduce anyone to the great outdoors.
